WFR Women's Weekend:
October 8/9-11,2026

This year we are offering a pre-conference optional early arrival with our WFR Women's Weekend retreat experience. Oct. 8-9th Gayla Irwin will lead Rooted in the Vine: A Contemplative Art & Faith Pre-conference

"Come discover a slower, more attentive way of meeting God through art. We'll begin our retreat by exploring a variety of creative spiritual practices for connecting with God. The olive tree, an enduring biblical symbol of Christ, will guide us as we experience Visio Divina, letting art shape our prayer. Watercolor painting will offer a hands-on way to explore attention and beauty as we paint olive branches as well. Along the way, you'll receive gentle instruction on how creativity and faith can nourish one another, leaving with ideas to carry this contemplative practice into your daily life."

Our weekend event "On The Way" Oct. 9-11th will be lead by Guest Speaker Cheree Hayes

"Whether you're looking for a fresh start or a fresh filling, this weekend is for you. Come rediscover how to enjoy God's company in your everyday life, name anything that's keeping you from your next step, and learn to recognize His invitations in your home, workplace, and neighborhood. We'll leave with fresh hope, fresh eyes, and renewed purpose."

The pre-conference option will also allow space for more solitude, prayer station use, and a slower ramp into your weekend with the rest of our audience. Your cost includes workshop supplies, early arrival housing and three additional meals on Friday. The weekend retreat will begin at 6pm Friday and includes main sessions, devotional space, restorative exercise, solitude time, relational time, a little entertainment and LOTS of coffee! Housing, meals, activities and workshops are included in your retreat cost. We hope you can join us for our annual WFR Women's event created especially for women.

WFR hIGH school winter camp: December 4-6, 2026

We’re headed back to Canyon for our annual WFR Winter camps!

(Sign up links are the same, so you can sign up for both in one shot! You will then be emailed an individual registration link for your students and leaders and have it on hand NOW as you promote.)

There is no minimum for your group to attend! Just grab your leader and sign up for a weekend away to grow closer in your relationship with God. Many of our church partners regularly attend – but we are open to any youth group or ministry that would like to join us as well. You can also sign up a group through our registration link. This event is intended to be inclusive denominationally and has historically provided a little Young Life flair to the experience.

Work & Worship: April 10-12, 2026

​ Join us for a weekend of fellowship, discipleship and volunteer projects. Families welcome with attendees 14 years of age and up. Housing is dormitory-style by gender. Work & Worship weekend is a chance to lend camp a hand as we get the property and facilities ready for spring camping. Projects may be determined by participant skill level and by the weekend's weather. Please indicate on your registration if you have specific skills or job interest areas.

Registration is a suggested $45 per person.

Can I bring my kids/Church youth group?

Due to the nature of the weekend, we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 14. For youth groups, youth must be 14 and older. Youth groups must have a minimum of 1 chaperone for every 5 youth of the same gender for project breakdown purposes.

WFR Family Camp:

May 6-9, 2027

Our annual WFR Mother's Day family camp will take place at Creekside and look very similar to our 2026 event: We will create space for your family to grow deeper in Christ together – and have FUN doing it! We will have club, program, and some organized family activities, but a big focus is for your family to be together as a UNIT, and time to just get away, utilizing what Creekside has to offer.

Registration for our 2027 family camp will be open February 3rd at 9AM SHARP and posted right here on this events page.

We will have discounted rooms available for guests in our Muddy Creek Lodge facility again for our 2027 event. Check out our map of camp​ to see where the MCL is in relation to Creekside.

Our WFR events would not be possible without our amazing volunteer partners. If you are able to partner with us and come serve alongside our camp staff during one of these events, you can also sign up for work crew as a group or individually HERE.
