Washington Family Ranch's Long-Term Volunteer Program is an opportunity for a life-changing volunteer experience. The program is designed for people who are deeply committed to Christ and desire to join our Camp Staff in providing excellent camping experiences for teenagers and adults.
Volunteers join our community anywhere between a few months to a few years…and still counting! They will join the 120+ person community which consists of full time staff, interns, volunteers, and families. As a community, we all lay down our lives to serve each other and our guests. Living in this close of a community is both a blessing and a challenge.
Long-term volunteers are asked to commit to working 30-40 hours per week (or a combined 50 hours a week for married couples) in an area of the camp that best fits their gifts, skills, desires and the needs of the ranch. These areas include food preparation, administrative tasks, maintenance and construction, housekeeping, landscaping, and other areas as needed.
Housing and Meals
Washington Family Ranch will provide volunteers with housing and basic utilities which include water, sewer, and garbage collection. Long term volunteers are responsible for electricity, phone, internet, and satellite TV if desired. We also have an RV park that is open year round that can accommodate any size vehicle. Electricity, water, and sewer connections are available at the RV Park.
Lunch and dinner meals are provided five days a week by Washington Family Ranch.
Feel free to contact us by e-mail or at (541) 489-3100 if you would like more information or to schedule a visit. Or get a head start and fill out a long term application Here. All potential volunteers must complete an application, supply two references, and go through an interview process.
