Washington Family Ranch’s Wilderness Camp is located just off Muddy Road, about two miles before you hit the main camp intersection. Nestled into a small canyon surrounded by vast hills, Wilderness is perfect for small groups looking for a more rustic camping experience. Uses include family reunions, youth and discipleship retreats, hiking and photography courses, and field trips.
Lodging & Amenities
There are ten A-frame camper cabins available, with two twin beds each, electricity and heating/cooling units.
The main lodge is a perfect place for gathering together with its large hand carved table and benches, adjoining a full residential kitchen. Facilities include two pit toilets and one outdoor shower.
Wilderness allows you to choose your own adventure with its unique camp setting. You can play Frisbee Golf or Horseshoes, fish in the reservoir, or lead a hike to the Fire Tower and its fields of seasonal wildflowers. Watch for local wildlife, including Mule deer, elk, Pronghorn antelope and jackrabbits.
In the evening circle up around the outdoor campfire pit and share s'mores under the stars. Listen to the coyotes and swap stories from the day!
