Thanks to our amazing donors and community, the Currant Creek Lodge is fully funded! The staff of Washington Family Ranch are excited to commence construction on this long-awaited project. The old Orchard Inn was taken down in summer 2020 and construction has begun on an all-new facility. The new Lodge will be a multi-story building with suites, great room and kitchen, combining the style and comfort of
Canyon View Lodge with the family-friendly flexibility of
Muddy Creek Lodge. With a planned finish of barn-and-homestead Western theme, the new Lodge will blend well with both newest dorm
Axehandle and nearby historic
Ranch House.
Currant Creek Lodge will provide quality, comfortable housing and hospitality to our Assignment Teams. These families volunteer up to a month of their summer to support leaders and kids from all over the world. Assignment Team roles include the camp speaker, program team, head leaders, work crew coordinators and summer staff bosses. Young Life Summer Camping wouldn't be possible without these amazing people!
